I go throughout the day, collecting links from everywhere. I mostly post them on my Twitter or Digg but not everyone has time to stalk visit my profiles. I decided to start sharing the links I’ve found interesting lately on Static Romance. So here’s Links.I.Love #001.
Graphic Design
1. Design M.AG has shared with us 100 Sources of Design Inspiration. Very nice and helpful.
2. Interesting logo inspiration: The United States of Logos
3. Here’s another list of great Adobe Illustrator tutorials. Very helpful for people like me who are getting into using Illustrator.
4. The release of Sumo Paint 1.0 has everyone excited. Sumo Paint is an online image editor.
5. Vandelay Design has set up a new list featuring Design Inspiration: Lighting Effects.
6. I downloaded a few fonts from the Ultimate Free Fonts package. Very nice collection!
Interior Design
7. Hooked on Houses is my new favorite interior design blog. With great articles, a nice site design, and a lovely author it’s hard not to fall in love.
8. Design Sponge’s before and after of this beautifully remodeled kitchen had me in awe this morning.
Blogging
9. This list of 21 Ways To Write Posts That Are Guaranteed To Grow Your Blog seems to be very resourceful for those who are trying to make their blogs more effecient.
10. Here’s another list of 50 Ways for Writers to find Article Ideas.
11. This one is very effective for many people: How Not To Blog: Don’t Force Page Views on Your Visitors. It’s tacky and annoying to visit someone’s site and hear constantly about how they don’t get enough page views. Simply get over it.
Web Design
12. Here’s the CSS Sticky Footer layout for those of us who find it hard to get their footers to stick.
13. I’ve just added CSS Elite to my Google Reader. It’s a lovely CSS gallery, perfect for inspiration.
14. I recently found this site to rate Twitter User Backgrounds and now I’m addicted. A lot of great Twitter backgrounds to view.
15. Here’s also an article on How To Track Twitter Clicks & Get Conversion data.
Other
16. A list of 10 Web Sites that Will Matter in 2009 has been released. Very interesting sites to follow as the year goes on.
17. Feedburner has gone down. I’m very upset about my reader count but hopefully it will be fixed soon.
18. Teen Magazine has folded. It’s pretty sad but it sucked so badly. I’m surprised it outlived Teen People.
19. There’s a new Kim Possible Attraction at Disney World. I’m only excited because I live so close LOL.
20. Of course the Oscars Nominees were announced today. I am not pleased with a lot of the nominees but that’s the Oscar’s for you.
