The new year has already been so kind in design inspiration. There is so much to take in! I don’t think I have had a lack of inspiration this year thus far. However, I have been yearning for a new favorite slab-serif since Sentinel. Latinotype released Trend, a great sans and slab typeface with gorgeous ornaments. What’s even better is that Trend is available for a ridiculous sale price of $19! I recommend grabbing Trend while it’s on sale. It’s amazing! I snagged it and had some time to play around with it. Here’s what I came up with using colors from yesterday’s Lucy Liu color palette. What are your thoughts? Any new fonts catch your eye this year?
