It’s barely above 30 degrees here in Florida so you should forgive me a bit for slacking!  It’s no easy dealing with these winter temps. Granted, I’m originally a Georgian and brave cold temps every winter. However, Florida has this dreadful thing called humidity. Whatever the case may be, I’m back to finding inspiration and I stumbled upon these six amazing interior design blogs. You should definitely have a peek, they have quite a lot to offer.

It seems that it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts. The past few days, I’ve been saving a lot of links on designing and blogging. I’ve decided to share them here with my wonderful readers.

As I’ve said recently, I’m a huge fan of the letterpress effect in print and web that’s become so popular. Six Revisions did a wonderful post entitled “Beautiful Examples of Inset Typography in Web Design.” Very inspiring post!

Blogging actively, you sometimes wonder about creating a blog content strategy. The best question is how do you develop a blog content strategy? Conversation Agent discusses the details in their must-read article.

I’m a big fan of Fuel Your Creativity and all of their sister sites. The interviewed some of the top names in the design industry to discuss how designers work from client contact to design.

Your site’s loading time is a “make you or break you” type of thing. I have a 30-second rule. If your site doesn’t load at all in 30 seconds, I will probably leave. Here are some practical web design guides to reduce site load time.

I’m actively involving myself in developing Wordpress themes and I’m always looking for new ideas. Designer Daily released a list of “10 useful Wordpress theme hacks” and I thought it was great. Look forward to a new theme sometime next month here as well.

I don’t know if I’ve ever screenshot my bookmarks bar for you, but I have about four bookmarklets. I’m a bit obsessed! Hongkiat decided to feed into my addiction and release “100+ Useful Bookmarklets For Better Productivity.”

I’m in the process of re-designing Sevenality’s portfolio (expect a sneak-peek tomorrow). I needed inspiration and Vanedelay Design reached into my need by releasing “60+ Helpful Resources for Portfolio Design.” Great portfolio inspiration indeed!

As I’m working on Static-Romance’s newest design, I’m searching into finding the correct typefaces I want to use. Noupe released this amazing article, “7 Rules for Mixing Multiple Fonts in Good Web Design.” It goes into great detail about mixing fonts, which I love to do.

Freelancers are always looking for a way to gain more work. The Design Cubicle discusses some of the best pratices in the article “10 Ways To Gain More Design Work by Building Trust and Relationships.”

So you want a better blog? I think we all want to make our blogs the best we can. Here’s “58 ways to build a better blog.”

While we’re on the path to making building a better blog, we need to figure out what makes a good blog. 43 Folders discussed the points in a great article.

As more browsers are becoming HTML5 compatible, it’s the best time to get HTML5 into practice. Woork released an amazing HTML 5 Visual Cheat Sheet.

I did an earlier post showcasing bloggers 18-30, seeing it was nearly impossible to find any personal bloggers within this age range. Apparently, I’ve been looking in all of the wrong places! Shortly after I posted about it, it seemed as if I’ve found plenty of new blogs to read. So I decided to do a second feature. I’m pretty sure most of these bloggers fall within the 18-30 age category, but even if they don’t, they’re pretty superb bloggers and should be featured anyway. Enjoy! I’m sorry for not blogging as much as I should! I’m trying. I’m just a bit busy. I have a few topics on hand; but I’m trying to get my business-self situated. I’ve collected plenty of useful links on my Delicious account so I though it was time to share again. I’m actually updating for the first time via Windows Live Writer. I downloaded it to test out updating from my Desktop. I’m a sucker for nifty applications that make my life easier. Although I love Windows, some of their applications aren’t so nifty; however, Windows Live Writer is appearing to be pretty awesome. I’ll do a complete review post on it sometime today. Fuel Your Creativity has released a free and premium font resources list. I’m addicted to discovering new wonderful fonts so I found this list pretty helpful.

This list of 11 Free Web Apps for Your Daily Work introduced me to quite a few new services for my company. It’s worth checking out if you’re looking for ways to make working at home a bit easier.

The Lost Jacket wrote a hilarious list of 33 Kickass Ways to Get Your Blog Noticed. The list was informative and entertaining. I think my favorite piece of advice was using puppets. Perhaps, I should use puppets in the near future.

The Monster Collection of Moleskin Tips, Tricks, and Hacks made its way onto my browser over the weekend. I’ve been desperately lusting over Moleskine planners for the past few months. Whenever someone is nice enough to purchase an 18-month Hard Cover Large planner for me, I’ll be using this guide.

The recent passing of Director John Hughes left me feeling as if another piece of my childhood had been removed. 2009 has been a year for killing my childhood. However, a fan who became a pen pal and close friend of John posted a wonderful blog about her relationship with the director. It moved me to tears.

Gizmodo posted a well-written review on the upcoming Windows 7 OS. I’ve been following Windows 7 for a while now, and I’m excited for it’s stable release. It’s almost that time for a new laptop as well. I think I’ll invest in Windows 7 in 2010.
