The site has been moving in different directions all month. After focusing primarily on web design and graphic design, I’m not sure I want that to be the main focus of the blog. I’m currently working on a new theme. It came to my attention that it’s best for me to really to choose a main focus of the blog. I can go a million different ways with this so let me explain before I open the pol.
Graphic/Web Design – Pretty much will be the same way I’m running the blog now. I’ll continue to build new resources and write tutorials as articles. Any random blog topics will be nonexistent.
Design Information – The first idea I had in mind. This will get the site catered to all types of design information. While the main focus will be graphic and web design. There will be information on interior design and fashion design as well. It would open up the opportunity to have some sarcastic commentary but most random blog topics will be left out.
Random Thoughts – This is the way I ran the site before. With a lot of random topics and a lot of my thoughts on things. Things would be a bit more organized this time and posts won’t be so frequent. However, this idea will have to be combined with something to work.
Inspiration – This will mostly be posting all types of inspiring content. From pictures, to quotes, and other inspiring artwork, most of the content posted will not need any random thoughts or ideas. Unless they’re inspiring.
Combining Themes - I’m sure there’s no rulebook on the way you run a blog. If I combined themes, it would mostly be design information, inspiration, and random thoughts. I like to talk a lot so it’s weird for me to own a site and not talk about things.

Combine all definitely. I would like to know about ultimately all the ‘themes’ you’ve mentioned above. It’s like… yesterday, I was trying to figure out how I can go about using wordpress for the 2009 year. Basically, I found ‘sticky tags’, which works well if you want to use wordpress as a CMS. Just have the categories listed how you want them. Which ever of the themes you choose to write about out of the combined ones can show on your front page and the others/previous listed in categories and we can click and read whatever. Also, ‘random thoughts’ I think can serve as articles, depending on the topic a lone. Personal ‘day’ blogs of course can be set aside, or thrown away altogether.

I’ve been gone for so long I don’t even know how if I liked the blog in my absence. I will say this, I love all the ideas and I am in no way shape or form decisive enough to make that type of decision. I’d love for you do combine them all, but that would put alot of work on your shoulders. If you want to divide it up, you could do sub-domains. Just a thought.
Subdomains are quite junky to me. I don’t like the disorganization and waste of space. It’s near nothing to handle, I’d just like to know what my visitors are interested in.
I dislike subdomains to, unless it’s just like ONE for a forum or something. Other than that, I could do away with them. NO SUBDOMAINS! :crazy:

I chose combine all because I love your random blogs and thought provoking ideas. I don’t want you to get rid of them lol. I really like the idea of having an inspirational site b/c we could all use inspiration sometimes. & of course since you’re a great designer, you just can’t do away with it sooo yeah! A combination would be best :).
